Agilent released affinityscript one-step RT-PCR kit

Agilent technology released a one-step RT-PCR kit for cloning, gene expression and quantification of team driving gloves

on January 6, 2010, Beijing Agilent technology company (nyse:a) today announced the launch of affinityscript one-step RT-PCR kit. The advent of this kit means that Agilent stratagene product department once again promotes the RT-PCR market with market-leading high-performance solutions, and is committed to helping researchers improve the experimental results of end-point RT-PCR

affinityscript one-step RT-PCR kit is an efficient system that can complete RT-PCR reaction in a simple and high-throughput way with only one reaction. Taking the sensor of S-type experimental machine as an example, the kit is an ideal tool for rapid and simple realization of one-step RT-PCR; Its simple operation process avoids the pollution that may be introduced during the preparation of multiple reactions or high-throughput experiments. It is specially designed for researchers to carry out end-point RT-PCR reaction, and can provide high-yield and high-precision experimental results for cloning, gene detection, quantification and other applications

"this is the only RT-PCR kit based on enzyme fusion technology in the market, which can accelerate the extension speed, significantly reduce the time required to obtain results, and PCI said that it can improve the sample flux without affecting the amplification yield and template sensitivity", said Dr. Nick price, product manager of Agilent technology

the kit contains affinityscript RT and herculase II Fusion DNA polymerase, which can complete reverse transcription at a variety of temperatures, and the reverse transcription activity at all temperatures is higher than that of major competitors in the market; Its powerful amplification step can amplify 500bp to 9.6kb cDNA fragments in a higher place

affinityscript RT can efficiently reverse transcribe and synthesize RNA first strand cDNA in a wide temperature range (℃). The application of affinityscript RT can realize cDNA synthesis in a wide range of incubation temperatures, up to 55 ℃, such a high temperature can fully expand the RNA secondary structure rich in GC, enhance the RT-PCR amplification efficiency of some RNA targets that are often used to measure the physical properties of materials or products and are difficult to reverse transcription, and ensure the cDNA production of all RNA targets. By combining affinityscript with herculase II fusion polymerase, researchers obtained cDNA with the same fidelity as PFU DNA polymerase (the fidelity is 6 times higher than Taq enzyme) and high yield, and the time is shorter
